Run Up Philippines, publisher of the cute 3D MMORPG Luna Online, will be part of this year’s Ozine Fest 2010 on April 9 to 11 at Megatrade Halls 1 & 2 in SM Megamall from 10am onwards. Ozine Fest is a 3-day convention for anime enthusiasts, hobbyists, cosplayers and gamers. It will feature the event staple Ozine Maid Cafe, cosplay and dance competitions, the Matsuri Area, Battle of the Bands and several contests like karaoke, pizza and takoyaki eating contests, art and photoshoot contests.
Run Up Philippines will also be introducing a brand new game called X Machine Online, a 3D scrolling action game that boasts of its intricate storyline and missions, fluent skill combos, and powerful pet systems.
All new challenges
Aside from premium items selling, Run Up will also be hosting a slew of activities that include the the famed Crafting Challenge, Guild Attendance and new challenges like Clashing Classes, Aggro Race, Time Attack, Perfect Attendance.
* A [+2] Enchantment on any user-owned equipment will be rewarded if the player who joined the Crafting Challenge gets to upgrade a simple sword enchantment to [+7]. Purchase of five (5) Runs Card 20s will be required and the challenger will be given 2 Simple Swords, 3 Enchant Protection Scroll [1-39] and 20 Enchant Scroll Weapon [1-39] for challenge use. If you win, specify the item you wish to upgrade to a max enchant of [+12].
* Clashing Classes will be the perfect time to prove your strength against other players. The event is open to all Luna Online players whose characters are Level 50 and up. Choose your division based on your class. Each day, there will be 4 tournaments for each class (Fighters, Mages, and Rogues). The tournament sessions are as follows: (1) Level 50-60; (2) Level 61-70; (3) Level 71-80; and (4) Level 81 and up. Only 8 participants will be allowed to participate in each division so register while it’s still early for a fee of one (1) Runs Card 20. The last one standing per tournament moves up the ladder until only one winner remains in the last tournament. The champions will be able to take home a 3-piece [+10] Standard Armor Set from Level 50-80 and [+20] Stat of Choice per piece crafting bonus.
* Aggro Race is much like Luna Online’s Guild Relay. This time, though, the race is going to be made a wee bit harder with the appearance of aggressive monsters blocking the racers’ paths. The race is open for a max of 8 guilds with 3 members each of any level. The players must have a Sun & Moon Costume Set. Relay point starts at Alker Arrival Grounds to Mud Puddles and ends at Twisted Vines. Each racer must unseal and equip the provided costume set before running to the fellow runner and successfully trade the costumes. The guild with the fastest relay time in the Gate of Alker wins 2 Karate Ukieeeya Belts [7D] each.
* Time is money, so they say. In this challenge, your party of 3 will use a premade level 1 characters and be tasked to earn gold by killing the massively summoned Slimes in the Gate of Alker. The team who earns the highest number of gold within 5 minutes in this Time Attack will each be rewarded a [+15] Spriggan Weapon of Choice, giving additional [+20] to Physical Attack and Magic Attack.
* Exercise team unity in Guild Attendance. If your guild has the highest tally of members who attended the event on a particular day, each of your guild’s member will receive 2 Genesis Crystals (1D). The winners for each day will be posted on our websites and launchers on April 12. You’re planning to be present on all 3 days at the event? That sounds great! The Perfect Attendance activity is right up your alley. Make sure to get your daily user ticket stamped every day at the Luna Online booth. On the third day, a new registration will be open. Just surrender all 3 properly stamped tickets to the staff and register. The reward will be automatically inserted to the attendee’s account so make sure to write legibly.

Attend Ozine Fest 2010 and buy a part of the costume set available on that day for only a fifth of the original price! By Day 3, the last two parts will be available for your costume completion and you save as much as 20% in total!

Other permanent items for sale includes weapons that give as much as 20 stat points of your choice and additional 500 HP: Dueling Wizard’s Wand (Staff), Rule Breaker (Dagger), Laevatein (2H Sword), Article Sword (1H), Black Widow Sniper of Darkness (Bow), Autumn of Applause (1H Ax), and Drail of Thunder (2H Mace). Permanent accessories will also be available like Wind Belt, Emerald Lily (shield), Ring of Phantasmal, Ancient Thick Gold Earrings and Ancient Gold Necklace.
Run Up will also be releasing some set of items for Level 80 and above that can be directly purchased. That’s right, no need to top it up! Upon purchase, we’ll insert the item into your accounts already. These includes the Berserker Set (Heavy Armor), Transcendant’s Leather Set (Light Armor) and Corrupted Magician’s Set (Robe).
