From the very first time I heard OTAKU EXPO, I’ve been very curious what it has that other usual anime convention/event doesn’t have. And we’re glad that Run Up was part of this event, because of this, a lot of Luna Online gamers were there to participate in our live events like crafting challenge, guild relay, purchase and top-up, guild attendance , time attack, newbie package redemption,  etc .

I enjoyed both days of the event. Since this event was my 2nd event, I know that there are few gamers who already know who I am,  and I expected to see the gamers I saw from the last event and they didn’t fail me. Exile, Renaissance, SignusVongola, Strong World and 7th Seal are the guilds that have the most active members on that event. So for those guilds who are still hiding their real faces behind their in-game name, I guess you guys have to be active not just in-game but also in events like this since you can get rewards that are not yet available in our item mall so it’s definitely not a waste of time but a time to grab the opportunity to have your items upgraded, get your choice of weapon, mingle with guild mates and the like.  Aside from cosplay, there’s also a maid café where gamers can eat and the maids were really pretty.

Michael Yokoi (RomnickSarmienta /natic In-game name) and Jacinto Joselito (yumicho) also received their iPhone 3G, which they won in Play Luna Online, Win an iPhone Promo.

It’s a whirlwind of explosive activities for all anime and fans this month.

On January 23 to 24 at Megatrade Hall 2, Run Up’s cute 3D MMORPG Luna Online will be part of the upcoming Otaku Expo 2010, organized by the group behind the annual Ozine Fest, Otaku Taikii and Anicon, as co-presentors.

The expo will be “the place to be” for anime enthusiasts, cosplayers, and of course, gamers. It’s the convention of the month for people who would like to experience a slice of the life of the animated characters that they watch on screen. There will be a maid cafe that sells food seen on anime like sushi, crepes, parfaits and croquettes.

With Run Up Philippines as an active participant of this event, there will be a special Luna Online-inspired dessert buffet. There will also be an anime swapping corner, art contests, cosplay competitions, auctions, and of course, gaming tournaments.

Luna Online has prepared a slew of activities for all those who love a good challenge.
