Luna Online, a cute fast-paced, free-to-play, highly social online game published by Run Up Philippines and developed by EYA Interactive, was launched to the press last August 14 at Phi Bar in Metrowalk Ortigas, Pasic City. Amongst the highlights of the press launch was the Luna Dance performance by 26K girls and the cute Elf Mage cosplayer that seemed to have come to life straight from Luna Online.

The press and the guests have gamely participated in the Luna Online Gold Hunt tournament for a chance to win brand new Apple iPhones. Lance Tan Ong of Game! Magazine and Jonathan Lansang of the Philippine Daily Inquirer took home an iPhone each at the end of the tournament. All guests didn’t come home empty-handed as event partners and sponsors Draven, Red Fox, No Fear, Hyundai, PLDT DSL and Edimax dished out freebies during the Pop that Luna Balloon! raffle.

Product Manager Julius Salagan further elaborates on the unique social systems of Luna Online that makes it different from other games in the country.

“Thou shall not be a stranger” is Luna Online’s basic rule. Its one of a kind Match Making System spices up the gameplay and encourages players to interact with other players for further character growth. It won’t be all grinding in the game with the presence of features like the Farming (where you and your character’s family can plant and harvest seeds for selling or build vehicles together) and Fishing, where you can fish out rare items.

Luna Online’s Open Beta Phase starts August 14. Level Cap has also been increased to 60, and additional maps have been opened like the Red Orc Outpost, Mont Blanc Fort and the Howling Ravine.
